HomeTown Bank was originally chartered as Redwood Falls Building and Loan Association.

1948

Changed name to Redwood Falls Savings and Loan Association.

1969

1969

Purchased the 301 S. Washington location in Redwood Falls, MN – with two full-time and one parttime employee.

1975

Opened its storefront building in Olivia, MN.

1982

1982

Obtained Federal charter. Changed name to Redwood Falls Federal Savings and Loan Association.

1995

Formed holding company – Redwood Financial.

1998

1998

Changed name to HomeTown Bank. Constructed a new building in Redwood Falls (Cook Street).

2001

Constructed a new building in Olivia (Hwy 212 & 71).

2006

Purchased four branch offices from Community Bank Minnesota Valley; located in St. Peter, Le Sueur,
Henderson and Cleveland, MN. Redwood Financial, Inc. purchased the Community Insurance Agency
location in Cleveland, MN.

2009

Purchased a branch office in Jordan, MN from Flagship Bank Minnesota.

2013

Opened a new branch office in Waconia, MN.

2014

Consolidated the downtown Redwood Falls location with the Cook Street location.

Opened the downtown Shakopee, MN branch office.

2018

2018

Added the new Shakopee, MN branch on Vierling Drive, and merged the DT location with this one.
Opened a branch at the Shakopee High School.

2022

Opened a temporary loan and deposit production office in Victoria, MN.
